Dream job phone interview is Friday!! As John said it wont effect my chance of getting the job! Being interviewed by him, another principal and a teacher at Edith Creek!! About to spend some of my day figuring out the best way to answer questions via the phone..!!
Hello!!!!
I think my interview for Edith Creek went really well! John said that my answers were clear and that the portfolio (and assessment samples) I sent through yesterday were a great help!! He also kept saying things like "If you were successul, I wouldn't expect you to drop everything and start on the 30th July. We would be able to negotiate a starting date.."
Arrgghh I think I went well.. Now all I have to do is wait.
Below are the wanky standard questions they asked. I answered them really well though. Managed to crap on for 30 mins!!

· In what ways do you consider yourself an exemplary teacher?
· Can you tell us what you see as the challenges for you as a teacher in a rural primary school?
· Can you share with us your thoughts on how you address behaviour management
· If you were working in a school where equity was embedded practice what would you see happening.

Heh, I don't know about the surname thing. I kind of like the sound of my name with his last name... on second thoughts it doesn't do much for feminism. Don't know yet! I have a few years to decide :)
I haven't stopped by for awhile, but apparently picked the right time to do so. Congratulations on your engagement!
